This is not so much a photography page as one about the development of our garden at 121 Lennard Road in Beckenham. Prior to 2018, apart from making four large raised beds, not much changed in the rear garden. But this year - big changes. The first big job was the removal of two rather disappointing trees - a non-indigenous hawthorn whose trunk was expanding in all directions at ground level - and a gigantic plum tree with dark red leaves which shaded the raised beds, sucked all the water out of the soil and produced a huge crop of tiny plums which all disappeared overnight the minute they were ripe. Then Carsten and Jan got started.... This gallery mixes up photos from various lenses and cameras, including my phone.
