I'm quite amazed by the colour of this one, which I have not adjusted.

This is Mo. Excellent travel companion and son.

A quick and dangerous passing shot in a street corner of Napoli at dusk

Looking northwards from somewhere near Sorrento across the Gulf of Naples. Napoli is over to the left, in the far distance. Vesuvio and Pompeii are in the centre of the image.

Probably harmless ...but you never know...

Stalking the streets of Napoli - half man, half ghost.

Up in the mountains above Amalfi we stumble upon the hillside shop of ....The Lemon Man.
He has wine, and lemons ...and wine.

After editing in Capture One - a result I was not expecting  ...it's much darker and atmospheric due to complete control over all the colours...

The view from our hotel rooftop one evening in Amalfi. Unfortunately it's not quite in focus, but I love the colour rendition (which appeared when I accidentally slipped on a slider in Capture One...)

Napoli street shot

Hermosa indeed. In the town of Sorrento.

I accidentally shot this one at a very high ISO, so it's come out rather grainy and mushy - but it's such a nice one of Mo that it has to stay.
We were on the train from Pompeii to Napoli.

This is Sorrento.

A couple of very, very old olive trees not far from Sorrento.

Basically, I just love Italy.

The timeless beauty of sea and sky.
